Salmon Crostini

Serves 4


  • 4 slices Baguette bread
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 8 pieces smoked salmon
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 medium-sized red onion
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper


  1. Cut the Baguette into 3cm pieces and brush with melted butter and garlic. Grill the bread till toasted on both sides. Set aside.
  2. Mix together the cream cheese, chopped onion, lemon juice, salt, pepper and milk, to make a smooth paste. Set aside.
  3. Separate the Salmon pieces from one another. Roll them up and set aside.


Place the Baguette pieces on a plate and pipe the cream cheese filling on top of each slice. Place 2 rolled-up pieces of salmon on top of the cream cheese and garnish with lemon slices and some dill.
