  • The highlight of the week was Hukumuri, the male leopard mating with Moya, the female leopard at Broken Dam

Monday, 23 September 2019 (21ºC)

  • Saseka, the female leopard resting in a tree north of Seef’s Pan
  • Xidulu, the female leopard feeding on an impala kill at Broken Dam’
  • One buffalo bull feeding along Mamba drive
  • Mhangeni male, the young Nkuhuma male and 3 female lionesses of the Nkuhuma pride finishing off the remains of a young buffalo at Chitwa-Chitwa Dam
  • Two adult hyena and six cubs resting at the den site off of A-main
  • Makhomsava, the female leopard hunting a duiker on Kudu Drift
  • A breeding herd of about 40 elephants feeding on EP Open Area
  • Tiyani, the female leopard and her cub resting on Rhino Ring West  

Tuesday, 24 September 2019 (23ºC)

  • Two Avoca male lions resting north of Treehouse Pan
  • Thandi, the female leopard on a duiker kill at Baboon Pan
  • A breeding herd of about 15 elephants at Shirley’s Crossing
  • Tiyani, the female leopard and her cub on an impala kill off of Koala Bear Road
  • The young Mhangeni male, the young Nkuhuma male and 3 female lionesses resting oat A-Main Grasscut junction
  • Two honey badgers foraging on Horseshoe West

Wednesday, 25 September 2019 (25ºC)

  • Tingana, the male leopard stole Tiyani, the female leopards kill off of Koala Bear Road
  • A heard of about 20 elephants mobile along Serengeti Open Area
  • Hosana, the male leopard hunting nyala north of Our Fathers Crossing
  • Another breeding herd of about 30 elephants feeding along Rhino Pan Road
  • A breeding herd of about 15 elephants feeding at EP Open Area
  • One adult hyena and 2 cubs resting at the den site off of A-main
  • Xidulu, the female leopard and her cub with a duiker kill on the Firebreak road

Thursday, 26 September 2019 (23ºC)

  • Tingana, the male leopard resting in the Manyeleti riverbed south of Serengeti Dam
  • Makhomsava, the female leopard resting on a termite mound on Londoz Boundary
  • Two adult hyena and seven cubs resting at the den sire off of A-main
  • Xidulu, the female leopard and her cub walking across Horseshoe Open Area
  • Hukumuri, the male leopard and Moya, the female leopard walking together north of A-main
  • One bull elephant feeding at EP Open Area

Friday, 27 September 2019 (27ºC)

  • The young Mhangeni male, the young Nkuhuma male and 1 female lioness of the Nkuhuma pride resting on Lucas Open
  • A breeding herd of about 35 elephants feeding on EP Open Area
  • Xidulu, the female leopard and her cub walking along Safari Donga road
  • Another breeding herd of about 20 elephants feeding on Nyati road
  • Hukumuri, the male leopard mating with Moya, the female leopard at Broken Dam
  • A breeding herd if about 20 elephants feeding on EP Flood Plain

Saturday, 28 September 2019 (30ºC)

  • Twelve hyenas feeding on an impala kill at their den site on Old Mhisi Khaya road
  • One buffalo bull feeding on Chestnut Open Area
  • Tiyani, the female leopard and her cub feeding on a bushbuck kill ae EP Flood Plain
  • A small herd of 10 buffalo bulls drinking water at PU dam
  • A breeding herd of 20 elephants feeding on Bushcamp East
  • Another breeding herd of 30 elephants feeding at Shirley’s Crossing

Sunday, 29 September 2019 (34ºC)

  • The young Mhangeni male lion feeding on an impala ram kill surrounded by 14 hyenas on Seepline road
  • A breeding herd of 20 elephants feeding on Southern Fork
  • Another breeding herd of 12 elephants feeding on Ximugwe road
  • Tingana, the male leopard resting on Parallel road
  • Xidulu, the female leopard and her cub resting on Marekene drive
  • Hosana, the male leopard drinking water at Rhino Pan
  • A herd of about 25 buffalo feeding on Seepline
