The Big 5 highlight of the week was to see the 16 members of the Breakaway/ Mhangene lion pride and two of the Majingi male lions in our area.

  • Styx lion pride feeding on a male waterbuck kill west of Tamboti open area
  • Mvula, the male leopard moving west on Southern Fork Road
  • A breeding herd of about forty elephants feeding close to Zimba Bridge
  • Seven members of the Tsalala lion pride resting at Rampan
  • Tiyani, the female leopard stalking a scrub hare on A-main
  • Nsele, the female leopard and her cub moving west from Poacher’s Corner

  • A pack of 11 wild dogs feeding on a bushbuck kill on Simbambili open area
  • A breeding herd of about ten elephants feeding on Gowrie Main
  • Another breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding on 16th Crossing Road
  • Seven members of the Tsalala lion pride walking south on Saseka Road
  • Another breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding on EP open area

  • Tiyani, the female leopard and the young Ingrid’s Dam female leopard fighting in a tree on Seepline Road over an impala kill
