The Big 5 highlight of the week was to see two of the Majingi male lions with the four Breakaway pride lionesses resting on our Southern boundary.

  • A breeding herd of about 300-400 buffaloes feeding on Safari driveway
  • One Nkuhuma male lion feeding on a young buffalo kill on Parallel Road
  • A breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding on Madash Road
  • Nsele, the female leopard, moving south from Rhino Pan Road
  • Another breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding around Simbambili Dam

  • A breeding herd of about 300-400 buffaloes feeding around Ntoma Crossing

  • Another breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding on Robson’s boundary
  • Tingana, the male leopard, resting on Madash Road
  • Another breeding herd of about 200 buffaloes feeding on Rhino Ring West

  • Salayexe, the female leopard, stalking and killing an impala on Kuala Bear Road
  • An unknown young male leopard stole Salayexe, the female leopard’s kill on Kuala Bear Road
  • A breeding herd of about 300 buffaloes drinking water on EP open area
  • A breeding herd of about 40 elephants feeding on the eastern side of EP open area
