The Big 5 highlight of the week was to see a clan of about twenty hyenas hunting and killing a buffalo bull on EP Flood Plains.

  • One member from the Styx lion pride and four cubs resting south of Wessels Old Driveway
  • Two members from the Tsalala lion pride and two cubs feeding on a buffalo kill on Milkberry Road
  • Six buffalo bulls resting at Rhino Pan
  • Another breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding at Eagle Owl Crossing
  • Zindile, the male leopard, moving north from Seepline Road

  • Anderson, the male leopard, feeding on an aardvark kill on Madash Road
  • One member from the Tsalala lion pride, two cubs and two Matimba male lions feeding on a buffalo kill on Milkberry Road
  • Salayexe, the female leopard and Tiyani, her daughter, feeding on an impala kill on EP open area
  • A breeding herd of about 100 buffalos feeding on EP Open Area
