The Big 5 highlight of the week was to see one Birmingham male lion and three members from the Styx pride resting with their four cubs west of Treehouse Pan.

Monday, 13 June 2016

  • Three members from the Tsalala lion pride hunting Kudus at Big Dam
  • Four elephant bulls drinking water at Big Dam
  • One buffalo bull resting at Shirley’s Crossing
  • One male cheetah hunting impalas on Grasscut Road
  • Salayexe, the female leopard, resting at Pungwe open area
  • One buffalo bull resting at Rampan
  • A breeding herd of about 60 elephants feeding around Big Dam
  • Two Birmingham male lions and one Styx female lioness and four cubs feeding on a buffalo kill south of Ivory Extension
