The Big 5 highlight of the week was to see the pack of wild dogs moving through our area on the one morning drive.

  • Seven members of the Breakaway pride of lions resting at Pungwe Island
  • Two Birmingham male lions and two lionesses of the Nkuhuma pride were being chased by a big buffalo bull at Pommies Pan
  • Two elephant bulls play fight at Leeukuil Pan
  • Anderson, the male leopard mating with Moya, the female leopard on Rocky Road
  • One elephant bull feeding on Madash Road
  • Six buffalo bulls resting in the water at Red Dam
  • One Birmingham male lion and two lionesses of the Nkuhuma pride resting on Methlowani open area

  • Nine members of the Breakaway pride of lions resting on Elephant Carcass Road
  • Two Matimba male lions following a herd of buffalo on our southern boundary
  • Four Birmingham male lions feeding on a buffalo kill on Chitwa open area
  • Kurula, the female leopard and her two cubs feeding on an impala kill at Treehouse Pan
  • A breeding herd of about 400 buffaloes feeding on Seepline Road
  • A breeding herd of about forty elephants feeding around Safari Dam
  • One elephant bull feeding on MMM South
  • One elephant bull feeding around Baboon Pan
  • Another breeding herd of about twenty elephants feeding on Lucas open area
