Big 5 Sightings 03 – 09 September 2012

Our Big 5 highlight of the week would have to be seeing Tingana the male leopard with an unknown female at Bushcamp Pan. To top this sighting, Salayexe the leopard showed up and decided to chase the unknown female away! Another amazing leopard sighting at EP!

  • Salayexe the female leopard still on her impala kill on EP driveway
  • Two buffalo bulls feeding on EP driveway
  • A breeding herd of about 20 elephants feeding around Zimba Bridge

  • Salayexe the female leopard finishing her impala kill on EP driveway
  • A breeding herd of elephants feeding on EP / Simbambili cutline
  • Tingana the male leopard, resting at Bushcamp Pan with an unknown female leopard. Salayexe came out and chased the unknown female away in a northerly direction.

  • A breeding herd of about 35 elephants feeding south of Kraaines
  • Mvula the male leopard and Xivambalana the young male leopard with an impala kill on Road 47
  • Tingana the male leopard scent marking on Simbambili / Safari cutline
  • Salayexe the female leopard resting on Wetpatch
