Our Big 5 highlight would have to be all the elephants that we saw on drive during the past week. You can pick and choose your favourite: big ellies, small ellies, feeding ellies, bathing ellies, playing ellies…You name it, we’ve seen it during the week!

  • Another breeding herd of about 20 elephants feeding on EP open area

  • Lots of breeding herds of elephants: 15 on EP open area, 40 at Marula Bult and 20 at Leeukuil

  • Salayexe the leopard on an impala kill at Nyati Road
  • The Styx pride of lions resting close to MM / Annette’s cutline
  • Tingana the male leopard taking over Salayexe’s kill
  • Salayexe the leopard walking east along A-Main
  • A breeding herd of about 60 elephants feeding around Serengeti
